Synthetic rubber prices show signs of easing
EPDM drops 2.2% while other commodities monitored by ERJ stay unchanged
London – Synthetic rubber prices* generally remained flat during the trading week ended 16 Sept, with the exception of EPDM rubber which saw a 2.2% decline week-on-week.
According to ChemAnalyst data, compiled exclusively for ERJ, prices of nitrile rubber, polybutadiene rubber and butadiene remained almost unchanged during the week.
Styrene-butadiene rubber fell marginally while halobutyl rubber made the largest gain during the week with a slight improvement of 0.4% week-on-week.
