Katarina Olsson to help with prioritised strategies such as M&As, regulatory compliance
Trelleborg, Sweden – Katarina Olsson has been appointed the new general counsel for Trelleborg Group, effective the second quarter of this year.
She succeeds Charlotta Grähs, who is stepping down from her position at Trelleborg to take a similar role at another company, said Trelleborg in a statement 28 Jan.
Olsson joins Trelleborg from a position as general counsel for Beijer Ref, a wholesaler of cooling technology and air conditioning.
Previously she served as corporate counsel at ICA and Ericsson.
She holds a master of law (LLM) from Lund University, Sweden, and has also studied at Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London, England.
“Katarina has an excellent background that will allow her to lead the continuing legal work for the group’s strategically prioritised areas, such as M&A, risk management and regulatory compliance,” said Peter Nilsson, president and CEO.
“I come to Trelleborg with knowledge and experience gained from working at global and also entrepreneur-driven companies.
“I very much look forward to taking up my position at Trelleborg and participate in the continued development of the group,” Olsson said about her appointment.
