Vietnamese rubber industry booms
Accordng to the VN Economy story, "By late 2003, Vietnam had 450,000 hectares of rubber trees giving a latex output of 450,000 tons, a sales value of more than VND7 trillion and nearly US$400 million.
By 2010, sales of rubber and wood products are expected to increase to US$1.3 billion-US$1.S billion and exports to reach US$1 billion." The story goes on to give more detail of the Vietnamese rubber industry.
