Brussels--Flexsys NV has announced it is contributing $25,000 US to assist in the recovery measures from the 26 Dec. tsunami in Asia. Flexsys will work with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies to assure that the funds are used in an expert and effective manner.
In a statement, Enrique Bolaños, CEO of Flexsys said, "To the best of our knowledge, the immediate and extended Flexsys families have been spared personal injury resulting from the tsunami and its aftermath, and for that we are grateful. However, we cannot ignore the terrible plight of those outside our own circle of family and colleagues. The scale of this tragedy is too large. The human and economic recovery of this region may take decades and will undoubtedly require an unprecedented level of resources."
