Crompton raises EPDM prices
Middlebury, Connecticut--Crompton Corp. raised prices on Royalene EPDM March 1 because of rising raw materials costs.
The price increases are: 15 cents a pound on Royalene oil-extended grades; 25 cents a pound on clear grades; and 30 cents a pound on RoyalEdge, Trilene and Royaltherm silicon modified grades. The hikes amount to approximate 20-percent increases, depending on grade.
The latest increase comes only 10 weeks after last announced increase, on Dec. 20, and is the fifth increase in the past 12 months.
