Indian rubber societies to honour mechanised tapping pioneers

Kottayam, India – The Rubber Board of India has organised silver jubilee celebrations to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the formation of the country’s rubber producers societies, reports the Hindu Business Line.
Celebrations will close on 19 July at Kottayam, with a meeting to honour innovators who designed the prototypes of mechanised tapping devices. James Jacob, director of the Rubber Research Institute of India, will present the theme.
