Kraton reports higher sales, profits in Q1

Houston, Texas - Polymer Holdings LLC, parent company of Kraton Polymers LLC reported total revenues for the quarter up by 10.7 percent, to $229.4 million compared with $207.2 million in the comparable period of 2005. This improvement was primarily driven by an increase in average selling prices and an increase in sales volume. The company's net income for the quarter was $4.3 million, compared with $3.1 million in the comparable period of 2005.
