Lanxess unveils new materials at IRC in Lyon
Lyon, France - At this year's IRC evennt in Lyon, rubber supplier Lanxess is showing new grades in all its main product families.
In Therban HNBR materials, the company has two new grades: Therban AT C 3443 TP and Therban AT A 3904 TP. The company says AT grades have lower viscosity values than standard HNBR products. Users benefit from easier, faster mixing, higher filler tolerance for the mixture, injection moulding shorter cycle times, and enhanced surface quality for extrudates.
For fuel hose sheathing, Lanxess claims its Levapren EVM materials are ideally suited for under-the-hood†applications, owing to a good combination of heat, oil, and ozone resistance. Lanxess notes that "this high-performance polymer offers particularly good value for money."
