JADE to trade rubber futures
Singapore - The Joint Asian Derivatives Exchange (JADE), a joint venture between the Chicago Board of Trade and the Singapore Exchange, said it will trade natural rubber futures on the electronic exchange. The company added that NR futures will be the first Asian-based commodity derivatives to trade on the exchange.
In January, JADE announced that Chong Kim Seng will be managing director of the exchange. Chong was previously Head of Global Customer Solutions for R1 International Pte Ltd, a company specialising in the natural rubber industry, where he helped develop solutions covering a broad range of customer needs, including trading, pricing, risk management and logistics.
