IISRP appoints new committee following Barcelona meeting
Barcelona, Spain -Â Following its 47th annual meeting this year, the International Institute of Synthetic Rubber Producers (IISRP) has appointed Mr. K. Ramamurthy, president of corporate development at Reliance Industries Ltd., as president international for the year 2006-07.
He succeeds Daniel Compte, general manager of Dynasol who now becomes the past-president international.
Mr. Ramamurthy is the sector head of the chemicals group, covering a broad range of products which includes aromatics, caustic soda, acrylonitrile, butadiene and synthetic rubber.
In addition to Mr. Ramamurthy, who will also serve as the far eastern section president, the other eleven members elected to the institute executive committee for the year 2006-07 are:
Far east section: Yoshimasa Fushimi of Zeon, vice president, Nobuyuki Takahashi of UBE Industries, performance review delegate
European section: Calogero D'Amico of Polimeri Europa, president; Pavel Rodionov of Sibur Holdings, vice president, and Igor Golberg of Efremov, performance review delegate.
Americas section: Chris Mudd of Dexco Polymers, president; Dodd May of Lion Copolymer, vice president; and Art Sullivan of ExxonMobil, performance review delegate.
Continuing to serve on the executive committee are Daniel Compte of Dynasol, past-president international, Jacques Collonge of Eliokem as treasurer, and James McGraw, IISRP's managing director & ceo, as assistant treasurer and secretary.
