BFS recalls 10 Firestone Destination passenger tyres in US
Washington DC - Bridgestone/Firestone is recalling 10 Firestone Destination A/T passenger tyres, size P265/75R16, because of a possible defect.
The tyres - manufactured between 29 Jan. and 4 Feb. 2006 - were made with an improper machine setup, causing a possible damaged inner liner which could result in a small area on the inside of the tyres without inner liner coverage. This in turn could lead to tread separation, according to BFS and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
