Akron, Ohio -Â Goodyear says some new Mercedes models will be fitted with Dunlop tyres in the US. The company will supply tyres for Mercedes' new SUV, the GL450. Dunlop SP Sport 5000M 265/60R18 and optional SP Sport Maxx 275/55R19 ultra-performance were designed specifically for this application, said the company.
Nineteen-inch versions of the Dunlop SP Sport 01 high-performance all-season tyre are specified on the Mercedes-Benz S-class Sport upgrade. The tyres, specially engineered for the S550 and S600 sedans, come in 255/40R19 (front) and 275/40R19 (rear) sizes, said Goodyear.
