Wembley, UK - Mavalle S A, a plantation company based in Colombia, has joined the Panel of Associates of the International Rubber Study Group (IRSG). The company plans to enlarge to 3000 hectares from its current 450 hectares of natural rubber in Colombia. Investment in new plantations is being promoted by both Colombian and foreign investors.
In its early years of activity Mavalle SA benefited much from the technological contribution provided by Michelin, France. It is focused on cultivating, producing and selling natural rubber in Colombia, as well as providing vegetation materials for sowing and technical consulting for the founding of new agricultural and agro industrial projects related to natural rubber in the country.
