Car registrations in EU up in first six months
Brussels -Â Despite a four percent decline in June, car registrations across the EU increased in the first six months of 2006. Total registrations in the January - June period reached 8.323 million units, compared with 8.219 million in the first half of 2005, a slight increase of +1.3% for Europe and + 1.4% for the EU-15..
In the month of June, registrations fell, mostly because there were more holiday days this year than last.
