Grace Davison Engineered Materials, a worldwide leader in High Performance Silicas and Adsorbents, announces a price increase of €100 / tonne on its PERKASIL® precipitated silicas and SYLOWHITE® and DURAFILL® alumino silicates. These increases are based upon continuing cost pressures, which impact raw materials, energy and transportation costs.
Grace Davison continues to work proactively to improve productivity and reduce operating costs through both Six Sigma and Supply Chain initiatives. Grace Davison is committed to maintaining its pace of investments on innovation and technology development to ensure security of supply for its expanding customer base.
The price increases will take place on August 1, 2006.
