London - West Pharmaceutical Services, manufacturer of stoppers and seals for injectable pharmaceutical products, has been awarded this year's International Safety Award by the British Safety Council
''The success at our St. Austell plant reflects West Pharmaceutical Services' focus on safety training programs and processes at facilities around the world,'' the president of Europe and Asia Pacific Pharmaceutical Systems Robert Keating said.
British Prime Minister Tony Blair said: ''These awards recognize the success that these organizations and their employees have achieved in their pursuit of excellence in the management of health, safety and environmental management brings to business, employees and the environment.''
