London - SSL International plc, the manufacturer of Durex condoms, has announced that it was expecting to reach its earnings target for this year.
''In May, we set ourselves a new financial target of annual double digit growth in operating profit in each of the current and next two years,'' SSL chairman Gerald Corbett told shareholders at the annual general meeting today.
''So far this year our performance is encouraging and in line with our expectations.''
The company posted an 18 percent increase in operating profits of £49.1 million for the year ending in March and a sales growth of 4.6 percent.
