Goodyear set to raise truck tyre prices in North America by up to 5 percent

Akron, Ohio -- Goodyear will raise prices on its Goodyear, Dunlop and Kelly radial medium truck tyres in North America by up to 5 percent, effective 1 Aug.

The tyremaker said the rise was needed because of continuing increases in raw material, energy and transportation costs.

Goodyear raised retread product prices up to 5 percent in North America on 1 July.
