Bridgestone Australia to raise prices by 4 percent

Bridgestone Australia Ltd will raise the price of a number of its tyre products by up to four percent on 1 Sep, blaming rising costs of production.

''The significant increase in cost of raw materials has forced the company to increase its prices in order to partially offset the negative impact of the increase in raw material cost,'' Bridgestone said in a statement.
