Hartest Precision Instruments completes restructure
London - Hartest Precision Instruments, the parent company of Wallace Instruments, has finished a two-year-long restructuring and rebranding exercise. In the restructuring, Hartest has retained the separate identities of its four UK-based subsidiaries -Â ASL (Automatic Systems Laboratories), Wallace, Tinsley and Sheen - but brought the research and sales and marketing functions together, to reduce cost and improve efficiency, said the company.
The group has adopted the strapline 'Height of Precision' and each firm will use the same chevron design in its logo. ''We wanted a new look that reflected our engineering pedigree and also made the statement that we are now a 'family' of companies working together to promote the very best of British precision manufacturing,'' managing director Nigel Rose said.
Hartel supplies highly engineered measuring devices for global clients in a number of industries including aerospace, military, pharmaceutical, brewing, coatings and petrochemical.
'Wallace is one of the world's leading rubber testing firms designing and manufacturing instrumentation for grading and classifying all types of natural and processed rubber. Its products are used by commercial and industrial customers all over the world with over 70% of production destined for overseas markets.
