Lehmann & Voss to distribute Jiangxi Black Cat carbon

Hamburg, Germany – Lehmann & Voss & Co.KG, Hamburg and its Luvomaxx business unit have signed a sales agreement with Jiangxi Black Cat Carbon Black Inc., Ltd. of China.

This secures exclusive distribution rights on Jiangxi Black Cat furnace black for the Lehvoss Group in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Great Britain, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Denmark, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Slovenia and Greece.

Luvomaxx will support existing direct contacts, mainly with the tire industry, as part of the supply chain.

With seven production facilities and a capacity of 900 000 tonnes per annum at present, Jiangxi Black Cat claims status as the largest producer of furnace black in the People’s Republic of China, and as number four in the world. Black Cat supplies a full range of furnace black grades.

According to Karl-Heinz Teschke, head of the Luvomaxx business unit, the agreement means a significant extension of its “already intensive” business relations with the People’s Republic of China. Wenxing Chen, President of Jiangxi Black Cat, anticipates “robust growth” in exports to Europe.
