Dwory to buy Czech rubber maker, Kaucuk Kralupy
Oswiecim, Poland - Firma Chemiczna Dwory SA, headquartered in Oswiecim, Poland is to buy 6 236 000 ordinary shares (100 percent) in Kaucuk a.s. a SR manufacturing company headquartered in Kralupy nad Vltavou, Czech Republic. The deal values Kaucuk at around €195 million.
Both companies make synthetic rubber. Kaucuk makes emulsion styrene-butadiene and polybutadiene rubbers under the Kralex name, as well as polystyrene, while Dwory makes SBR, BR and high-styrene rubber under the Ker brand name.
