St Paul, Minnesota - 3M has acquired the Rite-Lok global industrial adhesives line from Chemence Inc. The terms were not disclosed.
The deal is part of 3M's plan to expand its core adhesives business, said Patrick Deconinck, 3M vice president of Industrial Adhesives and Tapes.
The Rite-Lok line includes anaerobic thread lockers, retaining compounds, gasket makers, thread sealants, structural adhesives, rubber-toughened flexible adhesives and specialty cyanoacrylate instant adhesives for use in the rubber industry.
