London - Avon Rubber plc will show its ST53 multi-role RPE protection system at the DSEi show in London from 11-14 September 2007.
Avon says, "The ST53 multi-role RPE system has been developed by Avon Protection Systems to fulfill the emerging demand for tactical self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) to meet a broad range of extreme threats. An operator can enter a hot zone using SCBA (positive pressure) and switch to filter mode (negative pressure) for extended protection once the atmosphere is less lethal. Transition is simple, efficient and does not compromise protection during transition between modes.
