Conti Auto Systems opens Tech centre in Japan
Yokohama, Japan -Â The Automotive Systems Division of Continental AG has opened its new engineering centre in Yokohama. The new facility will be part of Continental Automotive Corp., the joint venture between Continental AG and Japanese brake systems supplier, Nisshinbo.
Conti said the openeing of the new facility will "bring Continental's product and service offerings even closer to Japanese and Korean OEMs" The centre is primarily focussed on automotive systems and ther is no mention of tyres in Continental's press release.
The 11 000 m2-centre will employ 250 engineers, with additional support staff.
