Bridgestone lays foundation stone of Polish truck tyre plant

Stargard, Szczenski Poland -- On 13 Sept, Bridgestone Europe laid the foundation stone on the construction site of their Plant near Stargard, Szczenski Poland.

The plant will produce premium tyres for trucks and buses in the European market. The first tyres will be produced in early 2009, and the plant will employ around 750 people. On completion its output will rise to 5000 tyres per day.
