Devon, UK -- Bandvulc Tyre Contracts, has signed a £400 000-per-year contract with Axis Intermodal, a trailers, trucks, rigids and intermodal swap bodies hire company.
BTC will manage Intermodal's 5000-strong fleet across the UK and Europe delivering real time cost savings amongst other benefits.
BTC said, in a 7 Jan statement that one of the benefits of the contract is that it will be able to provide specific recharge reports, enabling Axis to monitor and control damaged tyres.
“It's all too easy to offer high levels of services and expect the customer to accept less when the agreement starts,†said Bob Harrison, operations manager for Axis Intermodal UK, in the statement.
“We are in a competitive market and need to have a reliable tyre management service which is tailored to our specific requirements,†he added.
