Shape of things to come with Future Tire conference

London – The Future Tire Conference will be held 28-29 October in Brussels, and will feature some of the big names in the industry.
The programme will include a variety of topics and speakers:
“The Smart City: How the city of the future impacts on the car of the future and the future tire.” David Hilton, director, motorcityeurope.com.
“An insight into the long-term automotive landscape: Trends and market outlook; changes to car specifications, development and design space.” Tom De Vleesschauwer, director of long term planning & sustainability, IHS.
“The Mono a unique supercar design that relies on bespoke tire requirements.” Neill Briggs, technical director, Briggs Automotive Company Ltd.
“The Industry’s Greenest Tire.” Alan Barton, CEO, Lehigh Technologies
“Tire Track Concept – a new standard in performance; bringing together traditional pneumatic tires and rubber tracks.” Rudolf Macak, head of R&D, Mitas Tyres.
“Tire labelling: what have we learned so far? Review of progress by the 28 member states.” Martina Shchuryk, senior manager government affairs EMEA, Goodyear Dunlop Tires SA.
There will also be a panel discussion chaired by David Hilton focussing on 'what is possible and what is coming' with speaker and audience participation.
