Carbon black veteran Silcox joins CCT
ERJ staff report (PR)
Potsdam, Germany – Peter Silcox has joined carbon clean tech AG (CCT), a producer of recovered carbon black (rCB) from post-consumer rubber feedstock.
CCT’s new director of sales and product development, Silcox has over 20 years’ experience in the virgin carbon black industry, where he was the head of sales at both Birla Carbon and most recently Philips Carbon Black.
“I have been impressed with the technology and the clean rCB product. I look forward to developing applications for this venture,“ said Silcox.
CCT says its rCBs are used to partially and in some cases fully replace traditional carbon black, depending on the grade and end-application. The products are approved for food-contact approval within the EU.
