Tokai closes temporary businesses

Tokyo, Japan -- Tokai Rubber Industries, Ltd. has closed two temporary business operations and opened another.

The Production Preparatory Office at TRI Kyushu and the Industrial Hose New Subsidiary Preparatory Office have been discontinued. They were set up as temporary units to and implement new projects, which are now in full production.

Secondly, the company has established a “Association Center Office” within in the New Business Research and Development Laboratories. This unit is aimed to help a business unit and the Laboratory to promote joint research and development.
