Denville, New Jersey -- Alliance Tire Co. USA Ltd. has introduced a size 800/70R 38 tyre for high-powered agricultural tractors and combines, the company said.
The tyre, which is part of Alliance's 370 series, features a wide base and radial construction to provide 10 percent more load capacity at the same inflation pressure as the normal section size it is replacing, the company said. A larger footprint also helps to reduce soil compaction and improve flotation.
Other features of the tyre include lugs with a non-skid depth of 78/32-inches, rigid radial belts, a nylon casing and shoulder and mudguard design for performance in any soil conditions, Alliance said.
