Parisd -- Datamonitor has published a new report titled, Compagnie Generale des Etablissements Michelin - SWOT Analysis. The 25-page report was first published in May 2009 and is available for a price of around Euro 70, depending on delivery options.
The publishers say, "Compagnie Generale des Etablissements Michelin (Michelin) is a leading manufacturer of tires. It is also engaged in the distribution of navigation systems, as well as in the production of lifestyle products. Its key products include passenger car tires, truck tires, earthmoving equipment tires, agricultural equipment tires, aircraft tires, and two wheeler tires. The company operates in 170 countries worldwide. It is headquartered in Clermont-Ferrand, France and employed 121,356 people as of December 2007. The company recorded revenues of E16,867 million (approximately $23,120.3 million) during the financial year ended December 31, 2007 ( FY2007), an increase of 2.9% over 2006. This was primarily due to a positive price mix, and improved volumes. The company?s operating profit was E1,319 million (approximately $1,808 million) during FY2007, an increase of 18% over 2006. The net profit was E774 million (approximately $1,061 million) in FY2007, an increase of 35.3% over 2006."
