Sicom, NCDEX to co-operate on products, contracts

Singapore -- Singapore Commodity Exchange Ltd (SICOM) and the National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Ltd (NCDEX) of India are holding talks on a cooperation covering commodity trading. The two exchanges have signed a Heads of Terms agreement to co-operate and enhance the development of their commodity markets.
The proposed co-operation will enable designated products to be traded and cleared in both exchanges.
Further areas of the proposed collaboration include the development of new products, information exchange, market research and the facilitation of crossmembership access. Regulatory approvals for these initiatives will have to be obtained where necessary.
