Trelleborg offers perfluoroelastomer compounds for oilfield seals

Fort Wayne, Indiana -- Trelleborg Sealing Solutions has launched a range of Explosive Decompression Resistant materials specifically formulated for the oil & gas industry. Fully compliant with NORSOK M710, the new XploR range includes Isolast XploR J9513, the first perfluoroelastomer on the market to meet the requirements of this stringent RGD test.

The XploR range from Trelleborg Sealing Solutions is a suite of elastomers especially developed for oil & gas applications. The portfolio includes compounds in HNBR, FKM and Isolast Perfluoroelastomer (FFKM), each of which demonstrates best-in-class Explosive Decompression Resistance (EDR) for its material type.

The XploR range is available in all standard international O-Ring sizes and cross sections, along with custom-engineered solutions and specially designed seal profiles.
