Acushnet names Rhein-Chemie as preferred supplier

Chardon, Ohio -- Acushnet Company, a global manufacturer of high performance golf balls and golf accessories, has awarded “Preferred Supplier” status to Rhein Chemie Corp.

Rhein Chemie supplies Acushnet with polymer-bound dispersions and process promoters.  Rhein Chemie was evaluated - and surpassed expectations - in the areas of quality management systems, product quality, marketing representation, technical support, customer service, logistics, accuracy of financial transactions and enterprise viability. 

Rhein Chemie is a wholly owned subsidiary of Lanxess Deutschland GmbH, of Leverkusen, Germany. It makes and sells products for various sectors of the rubber, lubricant, plastics, and polyurethane industries worldwide.
