Dunlop to show new aircraft radials at Singapore airshow
Birmingham, UK – Dunlop Aircraft Tyres (DAT) is to attend the Singapore Airshow (11-16 February) to show new radial tires for regional aircraft including the Embraer E-Jet and, in the near future, the ATR72.
The nosewheel tyre for Embraer 170 and 190 aircraft, which will be on show in Singapore, is already in service with major operators, including Flybe in the UK.
DAT is looking to increase its market share with new radials which are lighter and can offer operators improved landing life.
Airlines from Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Philippines and Taiwan are among those being served by Dunlop Taikoo (Jinjiang) Aircraft Tires. These include China Eastern Airways, Lion Air, Spice Jet and Qantas Link. DAT reports increasing popularity for its products with aircraft operators throughout Asia Pacific since this new tire distribution and retreading facility opened at the end of 2009.
