Canadian company enters UK dairy mat business

Daventry, UK -- A Canadian company aims to enter the UK market for rubber flooring mats to protect dairy cattle from concrete floors.

Livestock equipment supplier Intershape has just been appointed the exclusive UK distributor for Canadian company, Animat Interlock Rubber Flooring. Made in Canada from 100 percent re-cycled rubber, Animat is North America's best selling rubber dairy flooring offering high quality at a competitive price.

Animat said the matting is 18mm thick and can be driven over by tractors and feeder wagons without causing damage. It has a unique profile so the scraper does not run on the matting and a 5 year manufacturer's warranty. The mats are available in both standard widths and custom sizes. Flooring for rotary milking parlours and slatted areas can be made to order.
