Simrit wins French aeropsace approvals
ERJ staff report (DS)
Paris -- Freudenberg's Simrit subsidiary has won aerospace approval for seven elastomer compounds from the French authorities.
The seven material samples met the defined performance criteria for testing and Simrit now has a core of seven NFL (Normalisation Francaise Aerospace Grade Material) approved rubber grades for the French market. These seven references cover a variety of polymers, opening up many new market opportunities within France.
Freudenberg said the compounds were developed in conjunction with colleagues in the US.
