Chinese tyre maker, US unit hire media agency

Monrovia, California -- China's Double Coin Holdings Ltd. and its North American subsidiary CMA LLC have named Artime Group their media buying agency.
Pasadena, California-based Artime will work with CMA's advertising and public relations agency, Fathom Communications, to develop a cohesive branding strategy for Double Coin in North America, CMA said.
Artime Group has worked with CMA since 2009 on a variety of point-of-purchase materials, according to CMA Vice President Aaron Murphy, but now adds media planning and buying to its list of responsibilities.
“Last year, Artime demonstrated a solid level of expertise and knowledge of our end-user marketing opportunities,†Murphy said. “We feel they were the perfect fit to design innovative new media strategies to complement the new brand campaign Fathom has developed.â€
