Coos Spanjer to move up from VMI

Essen, Germany -- Coos Spanjer, who has successfully run VMI through some of the most difficullt periods in its history is to move on up from July. He will be replaced as president and CEO by Harm Voortman, currently head of sales at the tyre and rubber machinery group.

J J (Coos) Spanjer has been with VMI since 1992. He will now take up the position of CEO of the manufacturing division of VMI's parent, TKH. His expertise will continue to be available to VMI in his new position.

Policy and direction at VMI will not change significantly, said the company in a press release.
