YouTube - A video posted on YouTube shows a modern-day interpretation of the Penny-Farthing bicycle. Someone -- from the southern Netherlands by the accent -- has built a human-powered bicycle using a full-sized agricultural tyre as the front wheel and a trailer arrangement at the rear.
The main tyre is not inflated, but has a series of spokes attached to the bead, which meet at the centre, where gear wheels drive it along.
Not for going up hill, or attempting to stop at speed....
