Trelleborg raising industrial tyre prices
ERJ staff report (TB)
Tivoli, Italy -- Trelleborg Wheel Systems SpA will increase prices worldwide on its industrial and construction tyres on July 1.
The increase will be between 5 and 7 percent in North and South America, according to Trelleborg's Industrial tyres Business Unit. The tyre maker last raised prices on these product lines on March 1, between 5 and 10 percent.
Trelleborg cited escalating raw material and transportation costs and currency fluctuations as reasons for the increase. Prices are going up 7 to 10 percent in Europe, Asia-Pacific and Africa, the firm said.
