World speciality silica market studied

Cleveland, Ohio -- Freedonia Group, Inc. has published a new report titled, World Specialty Silicas Market . The 285-page report was first published in June 2010 and is available for a price of around US $ 5800, depending on delivery options.
The publishers say, Rubber is the largest market for speciality silicas, and will account for 45 percent of total demand in 2014. They add that global demand will grow by 6.3 percent annually to 2.7 million tonnes in 2014. They say demand will grow most rapidly in the Asia-Pacific region, which will grow at an annualised 8.9 percent, to 1.35 million tonnes in 2014. Thius is marginally slower than the 9.2 percent growth recorded in the period from 2004 - 2009.
