ERJ staff report (DS)
Montreal, Canada -- Carbon Green Inc. has announced a sponsorship deal with F1 team, Virgin Racing. A couple of days later, the company said it has identified Southern Ontario, Canada as the site of its first full-scale tyre recycling plant in North America.
Carbon Green says it can recycle tyres and use the carbon from a pyrolysis process to replace virgin carbon black in vehicle tyres.
The announcements were made during the first Canadian Grand Prix over the weekend.
