TSRC may expand Indian E-SBR plant - report

Taipei, Taiwan -- Taiwan Synthetic Rubber Corp (TSRC) expects to expand capacity at its Indian plant for emulsion-SBR after it comes on stream in 2013, according to China Knowledge.
TSRC has agreed a joint venture with Indian Oil and Marubeni Corp to build a 120 kt/year E-SBR plant in Panipat, North India. That Rs 9000 million (Euro 160 million) investment is due to be on stream in 2013.
According to China Knowledge, quoting un=named sources themselves quoting TSRC chief executive Tu Weihua, TSRC expects to work with the partners to further expand the plant after the unit begins operations.
