Eliokem raises prices, adds capacity in antioxidants

Paris -- Eliokem is introducing a worldwide price increase for its Wingstay L antioxidant up to 20 percent in Euros, effective July 1st 2010.

The company blamed the increase on rapidly-increasing raw material costs.

Eliokem said it needs sustainable prices for the product, but added that it is adding capacity for this product, following increased demand in Asia. A spokeswoman said, "So far we cannot release any final information on capacity increase because the management is still considering two different options. An announcement will be made once the final decision is taken."
