DuPont Elastomers now shipping last stocks of Hypalon

Beaumont, Texas -- Dupont Performance Elastomers said it ceased manufacture of its Hypalon material on 20 April 2010, and is now in the process of shipping final orders.

The company issued a brief statement to ERJ to this effect, but did not add further information.

DPE announced last year that it would exit the Hypalon business.
