Richmond Hill, Ontario -- Terry DeLapa, who is on track to be the first woman to head the ACS Rubber Division, has joined SunBoss Chemicals Corp.
DeLapa, based in Copley, Ohio, will serve as a sales and business development representative for the US for the global sourcing company that supplies compounding chemicals to the North American rubber industry.
She is charged with expanding SunBoss' presence in the US market, will be marketing directly to customers, as well as developing distribution channels.
DeLapa has more than 20 years of experience in rubber industry sales and marketing, and previously worked for Harwick Standard Chemical Distribution Corp.
She will serve as secretary of the Rubber Division next year, and subsequently as assistant treasurer, treasurer, chairwoman-elect and chairwoman.
