Styron names leadership team

MIDLAND, Mich (July 6, 2010)-Chris Pappas, Styron L.L.C. president and CEO, has unveiled the company's executive leadership team following the operation's sale to Bain Capital Partners by Dow Chemical Co. June 17.
Pappas said on July 6 that the leadership team will consist of Mark Remmert, executive consultant to the CEO; Marco Levi, vice president and general manager of emulsion polymers; Jeff Denton, vice president, feedstocks and corporate services; Celso Goncalves, vice president and chief financial officer; Paul Moyer, vice president and general manager of plastics; Catherine Maxey, vice president, public affairs, government affairs and business intelligence; Francoise Schouten, vice president, director of human services; and Curtis Shaw, executive vice president and general counsel.
All previously held executive positions with Dow, except Shaw, who most recently served as executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary at Celanese Corp.
Remmert previously served as interim CEO of the Styron division within Dow before Pappas was named president and CEO. Remmert will focus on strategic growth opportunities for Styron, including a strong concentration in the Asian/Pacific region.
