Pirelli Tire adding US office for sales/marketing

Rome, Georgia -- Pirelli Tire North America Inc. (PTNA) will expand its sales and marketing operations with a new office in New York City to complement its North American headquarters in Rome.

The expansion is meant to assist the company's sales growth and will only involve the “outward facing parts” of its sales and marketing departments, according to PTNA.

“The expansion in New York City will improve our access to key partners in the financial, fashion and advertising sectors and will allow us to better serve our largest tyre markets, including our operations in Canada,” said Mauro Pessi, PTNA president and CEO. “Our North American Tire headquarters will remain in Rome, as it is the focus and keystone of our tyre business.”
